Zain Masri

Zain Masri is an American technology executive with over a decade of experience in marketing and product strategy at YouTube and Google. Zain is currently a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Google with a focus on Al Marketing in EMEA.

Zain co-led the launch of Gemini-Google's Al assistant-across EMEA, driving Al adoption across the region by blending product knowledge with creative storytelling to help build a stronger understanding of GenAl.

Zain led the launch of various programs that help equip people with digital skills including: Maharat min Google, a digital skills education program that helped over 2 million people learn new skills; YouTube Batala, a content hub that features hundreds of female creators from the Arab world; Abtal Al Internet, an online safety program that trained over 1 million students on internet safety. Zain also led the launch of various cultural initiatives including a tour of Petra on Google Street View and hundreds of Google Doodles.

Zain launched Tirazain, a digital archive of tatreez embroidery with the aim to document embroidery patterns while identifying their origin and making them accessible. Tirazain won a Bronze Anthem Award by The Webby Awards for the Best Community Engagement in Education, Art and Culture. Tirazain was featured in outlets such as Architectural Digest, Fast Company and The National.

Zain’s mission is to help equip people with digital skills to overcome obstacles, forge their own paths and inspire others to do the same. To contribute, delivered talks at Harvard, MIT, NYU, the United Nations and the U.S. Department of State. Featured in outlets such as Forbes, The Verge and Sky News.
